I am wondering what a “local” entry means and where it’s used. I’m noticing every time I take a screenshot with Apple iPhone that two blocked local entries appear. No reason given and no domain given.

You most likely setup your network with a .local domain. .local entries will show up as it is local queries that doesn’t need access to the internet and will show up as a blocked entry.
Would you know why a screenshot would trigger a local query?
