adam:ONE v4.15.2-697 Rapid Release

Version 4.15.2-697 has been published to Rapid Release on pfSense, VyOS, ASUS and OpenWRT. This is a direct update to 4.15.2-1.

This is a very significant release with the following changes:

  • Restructured Enablers for performance and efficiency reasons (some checkins times are now reduced by over 95%)
  • Implemented Multiple Enablers to use the same FQDN
  • Implemented default deny of query of type ANY
  • Implemented default rate limited for non-enroled sources
  • Implemented block-local-queries config switch
  • Implemented block-ip-addresses config switch
  • Implemented a default to block A and AAAA records for domains ending in ip6.arpa ip4.arpa and in-addr.arpa
  • Underminr (UMR): implemented mitigations as seen on the Dashboard → Policy UI
  • Underminr: implemented a quarantine action on UMR detection
  • Underminr: implemented a feature to strip ECH details from DNS answers
  • Underminr: implemented packet monitor parser to kill flows upon UMR detection

Rapid Release: Rollout begins 15 May 2026
Scheduled Release: As early as 21 May 2026
