Version 4.8.3-1 Scheduled Release is out for pfSense® and ASUS®.

It includes a few improvements and fixes as outlined in previous 4.8.2 rapid releases. In summary:

  • Fixed an issue in FqdnResolver responsible for deleting a resolution in use
  • Fixed a problem with incorrectly truncated UDP DNS packets
  • Improved DNS packet truncate mechanism
  • Added a handler for the DNS SRV record type
