Should we be installing the firmware that is suggested on the Asus router management page? I thought that the software on the USB3.0 stick updated itself and didn’t require my intervention.

The anmuscle binary (adam:ONE® software) does its own upgrades as its software lives on the flash drive since v4, but the firmware upgrade of the router follows the ASUS/Merlin process.
