Dissappointment- cannot bar access to porn sites

I am deeply disappointed that AdamOne cannot bar access to porn sites. I have tried everything suggested to me. Are they forcing me to take out a business plan? Or is it time to look for another different solution

Hi again @GerardW I responded to all of your other forum requests.

adam:ONE can absolutely block pornography, but you will need to go through the suggested steps in previous posts.

What we call the BrightWeb, incorporates both Adaptive Whitelisting as well as DTTS (Don’t Talk To Strangers). Yes, those features are available on the business plan.

Any other methods or other vendors that offer porn blocking are likely to by circumvented by simple strategies like DoH (now default in US-based installs of Firefox), or Chrome extensions that enable filter bypassing, or the most powerful of them all, Psiphon which nobody can block on unmanaged computers without additional endpoint software or settings. adam:ONE is the exception.

Dear Gerard.
I’m sorry to hear about your frustration. It is exactly because of cases like this that we now offer Commercial Onboarding (for commercial implementations of adam:ONE™) and the Managed MSS plans. We have a solid success rate with all our Managed clients.

As per David’s note. adam:ONE™ is one of the most flexible and powerful solutions to protect people, but as with anything else, you have to implement it correctly to use all the potential it has to offer. Technology is only one part of the solution. How you use it is the other part. If the KB articles and your own attempts are not getting you where you need to be, we can gladly help you protect your users under the care of our MSS+ plan, (or at the very least get you going with the Commercial Onboarding).

We’d love to help.
