No those are called URL schemes and are handled by the local applications on the OS level. So they have no direct link to the network.
On the other hand whatever your app tries to connect to will need to be allowed whether it’s a local or Internet address.
For things like NoMachine, (which I’ve personally used as well) you’d want a VPN to the local network if connecting remotely.
I’m not familiar with Wayk.
