Since Adam is constantly monitoring all their boxes, it would be nice to send an sms to admins when the connection is lost from gateway to internet.
Zabbix is a great solution to monitor pfsense uptime among other options memory usage cpu etc, there is a package in pfsense available. You would however need to run a zabbix server.
Can we get a screenshot of what data you get on your end from Zabbix?
