This question could be considered a feature request? Are there plans in the future to be able to run AdamONE on a Unifi gateway? If so, would are we looking at for a time line?

The UniFi OS is a proprietary system that does not have a supported method to load packages. So there is no plan to support it.
It would be possible to run adam:ONE in bridge mode which would allow you to use UniFi as a router and still have adam:ONE in the pipe as well.
