Adam:one crashing continuously--no internet

(I’m not sure that it matters this a pfsense box, but that’s what I’m using; note: everything WAS working fine) Did attempt to upgrade, reset the pfSense settings in their entirety, restored from a known working backup, etc. Can’t get to the dashboard to check the box registration/ID.

I have not internet connectivity with adam enabled, so I’ve had to disable it.

general system log shows, every few seconds, the following:

2023-05-16 15:34:49.552378-05:00 kernel - pid 9701 (anmuscle), jid 0, uid 0: exited on signal 11 (core dumped)

Looking at the anmuscle.log didn’t help me too much either…

anyone have any ideas? Sig11 is segmentation fault/null pointer exception

It seems like the interfaces you have specified in your config file /usr/local/etc/adamone/anmuscle.conf do not match your actual system.
Maybe try running adamone-setup configure again.

Also if you did any pfSense® firmware upgrade you’ll need to re-install adam:ONE

That thought crossed my mind, as well. It looks like the problem is deeper and related to pf rather than adam, so I’ve reached out ot netgate support. I’ll keep this updated should anyone else ever find it useful or have the same issue.

It seems Unbound itself is corrupted. Reference the screenshot attached.

F/U: A factory restore by re-flashing the firmware was the correct solution.
