Reinstalling pfSense - what do I need to do?

I am reinstalling my pfSense due to disk corruption. At the moment it is working but is not totally reliable and does not always boot successfully.

Is there anything I can pick off the current Adamone installation so it will continue to work with the same BoxID and rules?

Would it help to copy in /usr/local/etc/adamone prior to the installation of Adamone?

It doesn’t hurt to copy /usr/local/etc/adamone especially if any customizations were made to the config. But it’s not required. What will happen if you don’t is that a new key pair will be generated and you’ll need to reauthorize the connection on the Dashboard as talked about here: Reauthorize Router after Doing a Factory Reset
